Agile Product Management Senior Manager

Position Overview:

The Agile Product Management Senior Manager will facilitate the delivery of technology solutions by leading, developing and empowering a team of Technical Product Owners for a defined group of capabilities or products. The Senior Manager uses department objectives and metrics to manage performance, drive continuous improvement and provide guidance and feedback to product teams to ensure delivery of business value. To ensure future success and cultivate a sustainable and agile team, this leader will play a critical role in identifying and developing team practices, skills, and partnerships needed to achieve business and technology objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Technical Product Owners, to build and manage new features and capabilities while delivering desired impact on financial scale.

  • In partnership with Business Product Owners, defines the strategic roadmap for new offerings or existing systems, identifying key features that drive customer value.

  • Identify and assist Technical Product Owners (TPOs) with implementation of strategies to achieve performance goals.

  • Enable and engage Technical Product Owners (TPOs) by managing individual and team development plans to advance skills and team maturity.

  • Prime Collaborator and Impediment Remover collaborates across functional, operational and technology groups to ensure the right people are engaged and assists with key stakeholder negotiations.

  • Serves as an escalation point to mitigate issues, remove impediments and resolve conflict.

  • Optimize execution by collaborating with designers and lead engineers to craft the domain technical roadmap while assessing multiple portfolio requests and technical team needs.

  • Provide thought leadership to Program Governance activities such as prioritization and negotiating with stakeholders on backlog priority.

  • Identify the opportunities to build pharmacy specific entities and work in collaboration with entity platform, to drive the data and integration strategy

  • Lead the data strategy to synchronize the data from legacy Specialty platforms to entity platform

  • Enforce containment and retirement strategies for legacy services and Lite APIs

  • Lead the fulfillment platform strategy(Dispense Only) for enabling Pharmacy As A Platform

  • Collaborate with other teams and leaders within pharmacy plus and outside pharmacy plus organization to establish common strategy, goals, metrics, and practices.

Required Experience / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or 14 to 18 years of experience.

  • 13-16 years relevant experience with Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and principles

  • Working knowledge of agile principles, and experience leading in a Scaled Agile paradigm.

  • Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field.

  • Knowledge of user experience and solution design essential.

  • High degree of comfort in fast-paced dynamic / ambiguous environment.

  • Proven skill at balancing technical knowledge with business possibility and acumen.

  • Business acumen and experience within a highly-regulated managed care line of business.

  • Demonstrable problem solving, collaboration, and communications skills within a large matrix team setting.

Desired Experience / Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of services, JSON and Rest API Architecture

  • Experience with data analysis and SQL to understand the patterns and trends

  • Previous coding experience preferred but not necessary.

  • Prior experience in ESI Pharmacy and technology

  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills across a variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
